Seven figure NILs are for players who can come in for one year and dominate and significantly help their team before going pro. That is not Demin at all this year. I really don't think we should be panicking about any of this though. Kevin Young is new to the college game and this past recruiting season he did an incredible job, especially given the time constraints. He's still learning about what kind of players and systems succeed at the college level. I'm guessing that in future years coaches will be more selective about who they offer big NIL money to. And as others have noted, even when you have fantastic players, it doesn't mean you'll have a great team. Yes, Rutgers has been mediocre this year but Dylan Harper has been fantastic. He's having an All-America caliber season. Our coaches are going to have to figure out how to create chemistry to go along with talent.
