I get that there are some that don't think he was particularly sincere in his interactions, etc. and that he dumped us like a bad habit.

Maybe. Maybe not.

I thought he was quite a terrific coach, and hope he succeeds spectacularly at Kentucky. Yes, he could come after elite LDS recruits, but I don't think that's going to be a big priority for him since Kentucky recruits the nation and beyond. Plus KY is now doing the same thing, and BYU is acquitting itself better than ever by far in the recruiting game. We're already going up against the Kentucky's of the world.

I like the Pope's. I loved the Gonzaga, Kansas, and many other games. But I'm not particularly worried about them other than if I'm channel surfing and see Kentucky is in a good game, I may stop and watch whereas before I would have.
