Rebounding stats: Amari outrebounds Woolston, Congdon, and Gibb. Amari outrebounds Davenport but not Hudgins.
So you brought up Hudgins and Davenport, but jmos proposed 4 out didn't include them; hence I didn't include them in my evaluation.
Congdon isn't a physical player and contributes little to rebounding. I think Woolston has fairly short arms. If we need Gibb as a star on offense, I'd rather have her chase on the perimeter for D than to have bang with post players inside. So its not clear to me who the power forward is for defense in jmos's proposed 4 out lineup.
When we are starting Davenport or Hudgins at the 4 (which is what we have mostly done this season), that wouldn't be so much different.
BYU has been overwhelmed inside so far in conference play. I don't see how going smaller helps us with that.
