I'm convinced that he's further along in development than he'd be anywhere else in the country. All accounts are that Kanon is extremely coachable and KY is more than willing to be hands-on and provide lots of feedback, as well as room for mistakes. Kanon got plenty of burn, even through the rough start, and now he and the team are starting to reap the benefits.
If he were on Purdue, he'd likely be getting a few minutes a night on a short leash and hoping to get more playing time next year.
