One aspect of Catchings I really noticed vs ASU
is how good his on the ball defense is. He is going to be a really good 2 way player. He blocks shots and also gets into passing lanes so his off the ball defense is at least statistically eye-catching. He needs to add a bit of muscle to rebound better but it surprises me a bit how well he defends given his age and offensive prowess.
