It’s interesting to me that all the teams with byes lost in the CFP. I wonder if
there were some NCAA rules about practice not being allowed so many days in advance of a game and that being a disadvantage for the teams on the bye given the later game in the schedule.
I’m in AZ and I know ASU took a week off from practices post Big 12 championship. I couldn’t find anything in the NCAA rule book though.
