Anytime I have any additional insight into the vastness of the universe it is just so awe inspiring.

A piece of the universe that we can see has an estimate of roughly 2 trillion galaxies (2,000 billion galaxies). Each galaxy may average around the size of the Milky Way which has 400 billion stars. It takes light over a hundred thousand years to cross a galaxy. And there are 2 trillion galaxies in a piece of the universe that we can see. And we are very sure that the piece that we can see is a small bit of what may be an infinite universe beyond.
