My opinion… they didn’t want BYU in because they were afraid they could get to
The championship and then the Big Ten and SEC would lose out on all that money… they wanted the weaker teams in.

I agree. But nobody benefits more from inflated SOS than the Big 10 so even then, some lesser teams can sneak in.

I think when most people say SOS I think they mean Strength of Record. Our SOS wasn’t great, but our SOR was fantastic
