You're talking to the wrong guy.
The reason I'm OK with BSU winning is because I think more B10 and SEC teams losing will lead to more B12 teams in the playoffs instead of the ridiculous 1 team that was in this year. I think the B10 and SEC teams need to lose to demonstrate there were too many of them there.
Frankly - if they lose to BSU I'm not sure if that gets people saying "BSU is awesome" or if that gets them saying "They were so bad even BSU beat them". Either way - fewer B10 and SEC teams in the playoffs means more teams from other places - like the B12.
I was just recognizing the argument of someone you were dismissing. But it wasn't my argument.
