I’ll just say this now and embrace the fallout on CB. I don’t respect the
decision to cheer for Boise State, and I think BYU fans who do it “to cheer for the little guy” or because they hate the B1G are foolish and short-sighted.
Basically a CFP win makes the 2024 Boise team arguable more successful than all of BYU’s teams except one. BYU needs to be the regional hegemon both currently and historically. Not only is this vital for recruiting but also for viewership and sponsorship $.
