They celebrate back to back Rose Bowl losses like a badge of honor. No big time school talks about games they simply participated in the way Ute fans have. The 🌹 in their social media bios and handles tells you a lot about their fanbase. They are not a big time program like they pretend to be.

What gets lost in their 2022 season is that they lost 3 regular season games and needed a miracle to win a tiebreaker to get propelled into the CCG. They needed 3 different teams to lose in the final couple weeks in order to make it. They make fun of BYU for losing a tie breaker, but we only lost 2 games and tied for first in a 16 team conference. They lost 3 and tied for 2nd and got all the help in the world to win their tiebreaker.

Beating USC in the CCG was impressive, sure. But acting like what they accomplished in 2022 by lucking into a tie breaker for 2nd place and then losing in the Rose Bowl was head and shoulders more impressive than what BYU did this season is just plain dumb.
