Maybe it's not, maybe he just really wanted to play for BYU or disliked playing for Utah. But based on his previous dramatic and emphatic statements, it seems like something changed his mind.
And I hate to see that, just in general, because I don't love what college football is becoming. Like I said, I don't blame a guy for taking the money (if that's what he was doing) and I certainly don't blame us for offering it. He's a great addition.
It (appears to) epitomize the things I don't like about college football though, which is why I don't like it. I'm also aware enough though to know this isn't the time or place to mention it, which is why I'd avoided the topic until you pointed out my comments elsewhere.
And my point was that even if he was just leaving for more money (as Utah fans seem to think), that's more a reflection of the current system than a reason to attack him personally
