On ESPN website's FPI page, scroll down to the bottom and there's a link to "What is ESPN's Football Power Index"
The FPI data itself is current as of today (12/30/24). The link just below that takes you to the article I posted earlier. So, if ESPN has changed their methodology, they have not chosen to update their methodology discussion.

Is there an updated website? That explicitly says it doesn’t even use 247 data, but it’s also 8 years old
