As far as he's concerned, Rising has ripped off the U program for big NIL $ in the last two seasons and done absolutely nothing to deserve a dime of it. He says the sooner Rising moves on down the road from the U, the better off the program will be. He blames Whit for having let Rising get away with it, too.
Things are NOT looking good in Redland. The days of smugly looking down their noses at the "team down south" are over, and they know it. I get the impression that "the in-state game" makes them very worried these days. Make no mistake, they are well aware of how arrogantly and contemptuously dismissive of BYU they acted since their PAC entry, and they know payback is both deserved and overdue.
They definitely sense the Nemesis their longstanding and egregious display of hubris unleashed looming over them.
