Jake plays the game like my teenage sons play video games — always feeling like they can pull off the miracle play even when it’s not necessary and the potential or more likely downside far outweighs the likelihood of them making the play.

I still think he’s the better choice by far for next years team (vs a portal QB new to the system), but Jake has got to find a way to improve in this area to take this team to the next level.
