Hard to say. Some spring portal signees over the last 2 years include guys like
Harrison Taggart, Kamden Garrett, Keelan Marion, Darius Lassiter, Caleb Etienne, AJ Vongphachanh, Austin Leausa, Choe Bryant-Strother, Isaiah Jatta, McCae Hillstead, etc, so not too bad, although there have been others that ended up walking on or not contributing much.
It could be ripe with guys in programs that brought in highly rated/compensated transfers at their position who then realize they will lose playing time whether deserved or not (like Hillstead, Etienne, Taggart, etc).
