You isolate QB stats from full game management strategy, audibles he made, player adjustments he made, that coaches really like. And he came in clutch a bunch of times. You want flawless. Fine. But he was really fun and a great leader on the field and off.

Keep wringing the hand about what might have been. I’ll delight in what was accomplished in a real Cinderella season and cheer on a kid who was probably in the running for the most improved alongside Etienne and look forward to next year!

I do know Jake’s market value and what they had to pay to make sure they kept him and BYU isn’t the only team that likes him. You may not agree but coaches believe in him.
