Even when the going is good they are always looking for ways to get better. It doesn’t matter if they are undefeated or winless, they always seek out their weaknesses and do their best to turn them into strengths.

So go ahead. Treat this game like a fun reward and be happy. I’m looking at this game from the standpoint of, “How do we get from 10-2 this year to 11-1 or 12-0 with a conference championship and a playoff berth next year?” From what I saw this game I have serious questions about our QBs ability to get us there.

The fact that you act like Jake is Mr. Inevitable is ridiculous. That’s just asking for someone to get complacent and regress. You want to really get better? You bring in the best possible competition for him and let him prove it against them. If he beats them out, so be it. If someone proves they are better, you play that person. That’s how you become great and stay great.
