The Kansas and ASU games were over a month ago. We have known we missed the playoff for weeks now.

Of course I am disappointed we didn't make the conference championship or the playoff with how we started. Do I think that was all on Jake? Absolutley not. It was a team effort in the wins and losses. You want to give credit for an awesome season to the team and then blame the losses on Jake. Several reasons we lost the two games we did. Jake was critical to us winning several of our games.

He regressed down the stretch of this season, but was good in many of our games and key to several wins leading game winning drives. I could see him having a jump like Sark did from Junior to Senior year, but we will have to wait to see how it plays out. He obviously knows he has to do better.

Either way, Jake is going to be the man next year and rightfully so imo. No amount of bellyaching on here will change that and to do it during what should be a fun awesome night capping a great season is just poor form.
