I have clear and TSA precheck and I use the clear about every 3rd time I fly.

Global entry is the way when traveling internationally. Even JFK is a breeze.

TSA PreCheck being $85 for 5 years was the easiest money I’ve spent. Even at SLC

You can actually get digital pre-check now in SLC. No ID or Boarding pass at TSA. Just a quick photo and you are off
