I have clear and TSA precheck and I use the clear about every 3rd time I fly.
Often there is a longer wait at the clear line that just going straight to TSA. I think that may be somewhat unique to the airport I use.
Plenty of smaller airports have TSA Pre but not clear. I don’t think I would pay for clear, but it gets reimbursed on my card so I got it
