The other aspect I don’t understand is why alcohol is required at weddings
I’ve come across multiple videos of people ranting that they traveled to a wedding at some expense only to have it ruined by being a dry wedding. They insisted that wedding invitations should say what the alcohol situation will be.
It’s similar to how requisite alcohol seems to be to have a fun time when hanging out with friends.
