Transfers aren’t rated based on how they play vs high school players. They are rated how they play against other college players.

It’s crazy that people’s assumption is that these rating services are actually apart of a big conspiracy to prop up some teams and underrate others. The most logical explanation is these rating services now have new information and are rating players based on that. But instead, we get these insane conspiracy theories that the whole world is out to screw BYU over.

And at the end of the day, who cares? Regardless of their rankings, the players are the players. Gentry as a player doesn’t change if he’s rated a 99 or 83 or a 10. The rating is a subjective number that doesn’t change anything.
