Mounting shower hardware at SIL place.
We're trying to finish up the bathroom remodel.
We have ceramic bits but it's taking forever to get through the porcelain tiles
Bits might be too dull.... Or do we need a different kind of bit?

Having the right tool makes a huge difference. Buy some good bits for the drill and it will go way faster.

I remember one time I was trying to drill a few holes in a tile backsplash to mount a bracket for a new microwave oven

Use the hollow diamond bits and a spray bottle with water, very easy

Great advice. Also drill through tape to diminish chipping.
