I believe it's up to the cop if you just have a bill of sale. I was pulled over
14ish years ago the day of purchasing the vehicle. Cop just gave me a warning, but said I should have already taken care of it.
It's pretty easy to get a temp registration online.

Read your policy. Most automatically include a newly purchased vehicle under policy. Generally, you get a short period
