your post is ridiculous. BYU played at a WNIT level today, which matches how
they have mostly played through their 9-2 start. BYU would have to improve to get into NCAA tournament range. There is still time left in the season to do that, but today didn't bode well that BYU is going to make that jump this season.

BYU is playing about at same level as last season.

To be a WNIT team, BYU is rated about 60th-70th in the country. There are 360 D1 women teams. That means BYU is top 15 to 20% in the country. BYU has beat other D1 teams by 40 points this season. If BYU doesn't have many D1 quality players, then they wouldn't beat other D1 teams by 40 points in one game.

Delaney Gibb was a huge recruiting win for BYU and Coach Amber. Getting a star like her gives Amber some more breathing room. BYU is not a current women's powerhouse and they weren't even in the seasons immediately preceding when Coach Amber took over. So the expectations are more relaxed on this side than they are for the men.
