March Madness has lots of blowouts but upsets due to large # of games

I’d guess having a 16-24 team field that is seeded based on best teams getting the byes would result in a good mix of blowouts, upsets and close games over time. One March Madness is more than 6 CFPs. It has numbers on its side.

I think it’d have more parity if they don’t give borderline top 20 teams byes.

Swap Ohio St and Texas with ASU and Boise st and 2 of the games would have been better.
