A common accommodation for ADHD in school is to give more time to complete a task. That’s often the opposite
of what’s needed bc it just gives more time to waste. Maybe you’ve found this helpful but structuring time is usually better. By that I mean breaking a task into smaller chunks with divided, shorter deadlines. Some people use timers (sand timers w/ younger children) to help create a better awareness of the passage of time.
What has been helpful to you, if you don’t mind sharing?
