Thankfully these are put more often than not under "promotional purchases"
and are better able to be tracked. I also never use any card I'm using for 0% offers for ANY other day to day purchases until it's already paid off. That's another way the cc companies will get you. They'll apply different rules to different purchases. I have my budget set to pay the 0% promo purchases by a specific date well before the interest comes due.

Especially handy for vet bills (Care Credit) and Lowes/Home Depot purchases. In my mind it's free money and helps a lot with regular cash flow and allows us to keep money working for us. But I can easily pay for any of these purchases outright at any point if I had to. I don't advise doing stuff like this if you can't afford the original purchase and instead are doing it to cheat time. Just save the money and buy it later or buy the best one you can afford if you want it now.
