Go to linked post, pull up the video, and watch beginning at 8:14. That's the play you're talking about, and you're wrong. all that happened was an angle change. Luke had Parker smoked but he cut back to avoid another player and basically ran into Parker. Had he been able to run in a straight line footrace there was no chance of him getting caught.
