Too much time in retirement. Outside of being able to go on a vacation longer
than a week, I find I have more than enough time for almost everything. Even more now that I “work” from home most Fridays. When my kids were home, I never had enough time. Life really changes once the kids are gone. And if you no longer have to save, you have money to virtually do anything.

A life of self indulgence or worse, sitting around watching Fox News all day like many old people, has ZERO appeal to me. I would love to find some type of work (paid or volunteer) for 2-3 days a week that has flexibility for 2 or 3 week vacations AND is fulfilling to me. Actively looking but not yet discovered.

Some may not know, but when you can quit your job anytime you want (no longer enslaved) it is pretty good if you have a decent job. Don’t get me wrong, when the alarm goes off on Monday at 0 dark hundred, the pull of laziness is strong, but once I get going, I have a really good life.

In theory, we have all of eternity for time. No one will be unhappy when they leave this mortal existence.
