is easily foreseeable that they could be right back where they were in a year or two. On the other hand, where they were isn't nearly as elite as their fan base thinks it is. Since they joined the Pac 12, their best seasons were 3 loss seasons. And that only happened twice. Of course, I'm not counting the 3-2 truncated Covid season. Let that sink in. Their best seasons had 3 losses or MORE. They think they belonged in the same breath as Ohio State. They did not.

But, again, they could get back to 3-4 loss seasons more quickly than we want to believe.
