They had the money, the prestige of P5 conference affiliation, the perceived better coaching staff and the all the comforts of plush pac-12 inclusion. Money falling from the ceiling in their fancy facilities etc. That advantage is gone, BYU may be the bigger brand once money is the same, our coaching staff is on par and stronger in some areas. They can't drop the P5 card on all recruits and own the local talent and take lifelong BYU fans who are 4-5 stars with their higher level of competition.
As BYU's athletics grow, it will have the inverse effect on their athletics programs, MARK IT.
