That's not always true (eg, Muslim athletes like Fouss and Keba are naturally good fits), but on average that's going to be the case. So it seems to me that you need both; the 5 star, high character kids who you can sell them on the NBA pipeline and a year or two of HC adherence, as well as the 4 star kids who you're hoping to develop and need to be good cultural fits long-term. Top LDS athletes fit that second group perfectly.
