I don't think she had any "intent" at all. She simply had a family who believed the scary stuff about
BYU and hyped her up. When hearing the crowd chants her nerves & hype took over to where she thought she something that wasn't there. Honestly blame those who created this boogy man in her mind more than her. She just asked a teammate if she really heard that but instead of reassuring her, they ran with it then she didn't feel she could recant it. Before she knew it, a special kid was blamed, talk show hosts were interviewing her and an entire university was condemned for her own imagination.
