No one is against talking about how to improve. No one is saying the offense is saintly. No one is saying it wasn’t a disappointing end.
You are just making that stuff up.
People are against firing ARod.
For example, the poster just above you said “we had the talent. It was the coaches.” We were 41st in offense, but offense and defense have consistently been in 60s and 70s in recruiting rankings. What talent did we have that should have led us to higher than 41st and that coaching held us back? Sure, coaching could have gotten even more out of them, I 100% agree. And they could have played a little sharper and cleaner and moved up the rankings. But we already outperformed our talent, so saying we had the talent just doesn’t seem to check out for me.
That disagreement is not saying we can’t talk about the offense. It’s talking about making sure we see the offense clearly.
