Do 20 teams. Top 4 from each P4 are in. Two at large, two G5 champs. The two at large and G5 play one of the 4th place
P4 schools in play-in games. Winners of the play-ins get us to 16 teams.
Winners of the play-in games play the 1 seeds, while the 2/3s play.
No, I don’t want to see 7-5 Who Cares Tech from the MAC get a shot at the natty.

There are 352 DIV 1 basketball teams. 68 tournament spots 128 FBS for 12 spots

B1G and SEC could lose control of the bias they’ve created. Won’t happen.

Honestly I would love 24, but I am just hopeful for 14 or 16.

DII does 28 teams. The money is too good. You know it'll expand past 12 at some point.

There's no way it won't be at 14 or 16 in 2 years. The Big10/SEC/ND aren't happy

I can't really blame anyone who's salty over the Donkey Utes getting a first

The same people would be salty if it were BYU or SMU as well

And then even teams with losing records in the SEC/BIG will get in! Hurrah!

It would be so fun to watch 21 SEC+B1G teams plus 1 each of B12/ACC/G5!

I know it makes too much sense so it will never happen - but I wish they would

Or keep it the same but do 12 teams in an NIT type format like basketball. All

CCGs should be the first round of the playoffs. Two teams from each conference

20 or 24 will be great as long as it includes all conference champs. Just adding more SEC/B1G isn’t better

Every p4 gets two team’s minimum.

Dec 4, 3:38pm
Or create a rule that teams w/3 or more losses (excluding CCG) are not included

Dec 4, 3:38pm
That will make OOC games a waste because nobody will schedule good teams.

Not if it's the 12 highest ranked teams from the pool

Dec 4, 6:41pm
No, I don’t. But I’d rather four for each P4 conference than 4 for some and 2/3 for the others

No one wants to see #1 vs #16. Need first round byes for the strongest teams

Dec 4, 4:32pm
#1 vs #16. . . You really don't want to see BYU vs Oregon or Texas?
