16, Top 6 conf champs (or 7 champs if you want to be really nice)
Take the top 6 champs, and then the top 10 at-large teams.
Gurantee the top 5 champs each host a home game (and get seeded #8 or higher) Then seed the other 11 teams based on CFP ranking order. . .
The top 4 teams still get seeds #1-4 (The fact that #2 could be seeded #5 and play the #1 team in the semifinals is dumb)
Conf Champs and the top 2-3 atlarge teams each get to host home games.
The 16 teams in the playoffs means that we will get all the best teams.
