OK, I'll answer! Depends on whether BYU gets the OU Bama, or the LSU Bama,
and that's how it always is. The "eye" test is always biased to the eye of the beholder. This is not the "Bama" of Nick Saban years, at least based on current results. You can't extrapolate their previous dominance to this year, just like you can't extrapolate Michigan's dominance last year to this year. v
The point is, the placement in to the CFP should be based on actual merit, not the "predictions" of some potentially biased person about who may or may not win. All that does is introduce incredibly fallible human bias in to the system. Let them prove it on the field, and Bama "did not" prove it on the field more than BYU did, especially in three key games, two key games against 6 loss teams.
