Of the 64 OOC games the 16 SEC teams played
only 11 were road games. That’s 17% of SEC OOC games being on the road (and less than half of those being on the road in a different time zone or out of the visiting team’s footprint).
Of the Big12’s 44 OOC games, 13 (30%) were road games (with a much higher percentage of Big12 OOC games requiring the visiting team to travel outside its footprint and sometimes two time zones away).
