I truly believe it’s basically a shake down. The BIG10 and SEC bring in the
majority of the money and leverage that to getting what they want. Miami Ohio, Toledo, OSU, Navy, and Nevada are just happy to be there. They aren’t going to rock the boat. And to a lesser degree neither is the Big12 or ACC. If the boat gets rocked to hard they threaten to form the P2.
How many teams really have aspirations to win the championship? Most are just along for the ride, having some fun, and making gobs of money.
