But as I mentioned before, Clemson gets the final spot if they win the ACC championship (because SMU won't drop out of the top 12), and with none of the other teams on that list playing after this week, whoever the committee has ranked at the top tomorrow will likely be the last team in barring any major surprises. As I mentioned, I would put money on Alabama being that team. The list I included was moreso simply based on who would be "considered" based on historical data - though I think it's pretty safe to say we know who in that list will probably be at the top (and it's all about conference affiliation and brand value at that point).
