Sorry, but IMHO you’re describing an anomaly. My family buys a staggering amount

of everything through Amazon, and it's an unusual day we don't get at least one delivery. My/Our exerpience has been that replacement of incorrect or damaged items has been quick, smooth, effortless. And they are very uncommon.

Sorry about your one-off problem, but your one incident isn't an indictment of Amazon's entire CS going "so far downhill".
