For example, there was a team that recently got into a power conference and desperately needed to improve their defense and made the clearly laughable choice to get an FCS coach who was only a year removed from a 6-5 season.
Obviously that wasn't a bad choice, even if it's possible to present it unfairly. The guy Utah is looking at is in demand (including by Oklahoma) and has been successful in the big picture.
There's plenty to insult Utah about this year, but hiring an up and coming G6 coordinator isn't absurd. No guarantee it will or won't work, but it's certainly not an unreasonable hire
Like I said, there's plenty to really razz Utah about. If we start insulting them for reasonable things, it takes away the impact when the criticism is actually deserved
