Funny line to add. Your disdain for bsu was pretty obvious from the beginning of the post.

A few thoughts from a local:

1) The football success goes back farther then most realize (at least back until early 80s). Didn't just start with Chris peterson.

2. They hired a dud as head coach right before Danielson. Pulled the trigger pretty quick on letting him go.

3. The string of good head coaches is remarkable. They have stayed connected to the program and taken an interest in seeing it's continued success. Example: Dirk Koetter coming back and filling in as OC twice now in the last couple years and giving the program time to find a more long term hire. It's also my understanding that Peterson has been involved in the head coach search committees.
