Daniel Jones handled his demotion and release with a lot of class. With that he's shown he can be a solid bridge quarterback. Darnold has played well enough this season that he won't be back (unless the Vikings overpay), but the Vikes will still want a veteran mentor and potential bridge guy to help McCarthy ease in
