People in the the Phx area say he's helped re-build relationships with a lot of local schools (whereas the previous ASU coaches didn't I guess?) and I've seen him in interviews be very complimentary of other programs in the conference. Getting emotional, etc. during or immediately after a game I think is pretty normal for most coaches (and people in general).
