It was held at the building right next to the Gilbert Temple.
He wasn’t the main speaker (Darrell Bevell was). He talked about the fact that they don’t practice on Sundays and that he has 2 commits on missions. He point blank said how important the LDS community is to his program. He even teared up in appreciation of Coach Bevell’s willing to help his career.
After his comments he immediately left citing that it is a recruiting dead period and he didn’t want to risk contacting recruits at the fireside.
I thought it was pretty clever of him to make an appearance.
