This was a Orem/Church collaboration, part of the MyHomeTown initiative. I was teaching other cooking, but the first two people taught about breadmaking.
The man who presented showed off his breadmaker, and how easy it was. It actually creates loaf-shaped bread, instead of the bricks that we used to see from the older makers. It was good stuff, and his machine was $125 he said. Here's a photo of his machine, where he was baking the bread right there in the church.
The woman showed from scratch with traditional methods, including both bread loaves and rolls. The rolls were amazing. I took a photo of her recipe, which I'll include below.
