I don't remember for certain and too lazy to look it up.
I'm in agreement that the culprit needs to be identified and there needs to be appropriate actions taken. Such an event is a violation of the right of the visiting team and should be investigated and solved. This didn't happen in a vacuum. I doubt this was officially sanctioned by anyone on the ASU football staff, but I could be wrong, and therefore I wouldn't talk of vacating wins or anything, but Arizona State University (or any university, including BYU) should protect the rights of their opposing team anyway that is necessary. This happened behind what should be a closed door and therefore should not be accessible to any non-authorized individual.
I don't lose sleep over this issue, but unless they fetter out the individual and there are consequences, then ASU has absolutely no credibility.
